Speaker Responsibilities

Student are learning about the differing responsibilities of each speaker position that occurs during a debate round.

• Students can recall the speeches that their speaker position conducts.

• Students can recall the moments where they are supposed to cross examine the opposing team.

• Students can understand that a responsibility of being a captain of a ship is required during a debate.

• Students can articulate the words/tasks that are required of a captain, even if not knowing what the words mean. 

• Students can articulate which speeches they are responsible for writing frontlines.
