Students will learn the basics behind running a counterplan. 

• Student can identify the structure of old school and modern counterplan 

• Student can identify the different types of permutations 

• Student can describe what cost benefit analysis is and why it is relevant to a counterplan 

• Student can articulate what competition is for a counterplan 

• Student can develop and execute a counterplan against a specific affirmative
